Sugar Dawn

Sugar Dawn is a female alp-luachra of average size for her species, small enough to fit in the palm of a human hand. She looks almost like a miniature earth pony, except for her snake-like tail and the different coat colour along her belly. Though fully grown, she is somewhat younger than Swift and Mythic. Sugar has a light-and-dark striped green mane and a two-toned brown coat and tail. Her short, slicked-back mane has a naturally glossy appearance. Her mane and coat are oily and hydrophobic, making it easier for her to manoeuvre through tight spaces. Her underbelly is a lighter shade of brown, and that colour continues up her neck and down her tail. She has curious blue eyes and freckles on her face.

Sugar was born in the Everfree Forest. Her species does not really form families, so she was left to fend for herself. She survived in relative isolation until adulthood, when Mythic crossed paths with her. The two formed a bond, and Mythic brought her home as a new member of the family. Sugar grew close to Swift and Mythic, quickly developing language skills and learning about the wider world. She spends her days at their residence, relaxing and causing whatever mischief she can.

Sugar is a troublemaker, and her antics are rarely far behind wherever she appears. She tends to push things as far as she can until she inevitably gets in trouble. She is not evil; she simply struggles with boundaries, especially personal ones. She genuinely cares and is apologetic when she hurts someone. Sugar loves games and excels at puzzles, logic problems, and mathematics, sometimes helping Swift with his day job. She occasionally feels lonely because she does not know others of her own kind, though she has a few friends outside the Dawn family. She enjoys cooking, puzzles, and creating Rube Goldberg-like machines around the house.
