Mythic Dawn

Mythic Dawn is a female bat pony of average stature and build for a bat pony of her gender and age. She is a young adult with a light-and-dark striped brown mane and tail and a gray coat. Her bangs are cut straight, and her mane is tied into a ponytail with a purple hair band. Two gray bat wings with dark brown membranes sprout from her back. Her tail is long and neat, matching her mane. She has purple eyes and fangs visible behind closed lips. On her flank is her cutie mark: two blue spheres crossing in an X formation.

Mythic was born into the Dawn bat pony family and grew up in Canterlot. She was raised alongside her adoptive brother, Swift Dawn, and the two developed a strong bond. They eventually moved into a townhouse together in Canterlot's middle-class district. Mythic wanted to join the Royal Guard from a young age, hoping to continue her family's long history of service to Canterlot and the princesses. She eventually enlisted and now patrols the castle grounds at night and helps secure the premises.

Mythic is energetic. Though she can be mature and take things seriously—particularly at work—she loves to let loose and be herself. She is fun-loving and sometimes a little foalish, but ultimately her heart is in the right place. She has a strong allegiance to the Moon Princess and her extended bat pony family and is willing to fight and die for them. Mythic enjoys dating ponies, though the dates usually do not lead anywhere. She finds them entertaining and loves to tease her would-be partners. She also enjoys long walks around the city, meeting up with her mare friends, clubbing, and reading a good novel; she finds trashy romance especially entertaining.
